— 2 minute read

See below an update from the Port Vale SLO team:

Welcome to Vale Park
The stadium has been the home of Port Vale since 1950. The current capacity is 15,036 but the highest recorded attendance is 49,768 v Aston Villa in 1960. The stadium is 520 ft. above sea level making it the second highest ground in the country. The two clubs are approximately 102 miles apart and your last visit to Vale Park was in 2020 when Vale were 2-0 winners.

Pre-match
Tommy Cheadle’s bar which is situated on the away car park is open to away fans. There is also a fan zone located by the club shop which is also open to away supporters, especially those with young children.

Kiosks
There are two kiosks for your use, “The penalty spot” and “The corner flag” both selling food and alcohol but please be aware the corner flag (the one on the left as you enter the stadium is cash only at the moment).

Half-time
15 minutes before half time, the concourse gates will be opened to allow those wishing to smoke outside. The
Tommy Cheadle bar on the away carpark will also be open but will close on the commencement of the second half.

After the game
If you are parked on one of our on-site car parks, please be aware that you may be held for a short period of time to allow the footfall around the stadium to subside. This will only be for as long as deemed necessary.

We wish you all a safe journey home.
