By Car

Situated on the South side of Shrewsbury, the Montgomery Waters Meadow is just a stone’s throw away from the A5 and A49.

If you are travelling from the North or South then you will arrive in Shrewsbury on the A49 and you should follow the signs to the football ground.

If you are travelling from either the West or the East then you will arrive in Shrewsbury on the A5 and you should also follow signs for the football club.

If you are using a Sat-Nav, the club postcode is SY2 6ST.


By Train

The railway station is two miles from the stadium. On leaving the railway station proceed to the bus station (300 yards) to travel on the Express Bus Service or Arriva operated services.

By Bus

A bus service will run three journeys from the town's bus station to and from the stadium for Saturday and two journeys for mid-week matches.

The service will pick up at The Shirehall Car Park.

The return service will leave the stadium from behind the South Stand ten minutes after the end of the match.

On foot (from Shrewsbury town centre)

From Shrewsbury Town Centre, proceed to the English Bridge and at the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Coleham Head. Continue on the main road which is Belle Vue Road and Hereford Road, until you reach the BP Garage on your left, which is close to Meole Brace Roundabout.

From Meole Brace Roundabout or Old Potts Way supporters have a choice of either using the footpaths on either side of Oteley Road or the public right of way from the underpass at the back of Meole Brace Retail Park, which gives access to the Montgomery Waters Meadow at the rear of the west stand. From the Sutton area use the footpath to the traffic signal controlled access road to the stadium.

Montgomery Waters Meadow – SY2 6ST

Parking at the Montgomery Waters Meadow is mainly by permit but there are a limited number of passes available per game from the ticket office at the Montgomery Waters Meadow. Tickets cost £10 and are available up until 12 noon on Saturdays, and 4 pm on midweek games. (All parking is subject to availability)

Meole Brace Park and Walk - SY3 9NB

The Meole Brace Park and Walk is situated approximately 10-15 minutes' walk from Montgomery Waters Meadow.

Vehicles can be parked at a cost £5 per car (cash only).

PROHIBITED PARKING AREAS

OTELEY ROAD - It is illegal to park on grass verges.

SUTTON ROAD AND SUTTON ESTATE

Sutton Road and all side roads are within a controlled parking zone on match days. Only residents with permits are allowed to park on the roads. At all times on match days parking is prohibited. Supporters who ignore the Order will be given parking fines.

MEOLE BRACE ESTATE & MEOLE VILLAGE: Residents parking only in these areas.

LIDL

Parking at the Lidl Supermarket is restricted to customers only and for 90 minutes parking. There is VNPR (Vehicle Number Plate Recognition) in place and parking tickets will be sent out automatically.

All of the areas listed above are regularly patrolled on match days by parking enforcement officers.

You can purchase your tickets and travel for the match here or via the CTFC ticket office.

Away supporters at Shrewsbury are based in the DM Recruitment North Stand.

ticket prices are as follows:

Tickets for Ambulant Disabled supporters are £17, with a carer free if they would otherwise be unable to attend.

Shrewsbury Town are able to offer limited disabled car parking spaces for away supporters. To book this please e-mail tickets@ctfc.com with your name and vehicle registration, along with the Blue Badge number.

Away tickets are unable to be produced digitally so physical tickets must be collected.

Any tickets not collected from the Completely-Suzuki Stadium by Friday 4th August will be taken to the Croud Meadow for collection on the day from the D M Recruitment Stand.

Away supporters can pay on the day but please note it is CASH ONLY with a £1 increase.

Travel Club Information:

The Official CTFC Travel Club will depart the Completely-Suzuki Stadium for Shrewsbury at 11:00AM.

If you do not collect your match tickets in advance they will be left with the on board steward for collection.

Please note that seating plans are drawn up in advance and changes on the day may not be possible. If you have specific seating requests please e-mail the Ticket Office with details.

Food and Drink permalink

Shrewsbury Town FC is situated next to the Meole Brace Retail Park where you can find a number of different food and drink options, including McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee and Starbucks.

Once in the ground we provide catering inside the concourse. This includes a selection of Wright’s Pies, Rollover hot dogs, a selection of crisps and chocolate, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Away Friendly Pubs permalink

The Wild Pig and Charles Darwin Pubs are recommended by Shrewsbury Town for visiting supporters. Both are just a 10 to 15-minute walk away from the ground and serve a range of beers, ciders and spirits. They also offer hot meals and matchday parking.

Fan Zone permalink

Shrewsbury Town have recently set up a fan zone, which features live music and a range of food and drink option. The fan zone is open to both home and away supporters, and is situated by the Shrewsbury Community Football Hub.

Programmes permalink

Match programmes will be available to purchase around the ground for £3 (2023/24 price subject to confirmation).

Flags and Instruments permalink

Can I bring a flag to Montgomery Waters Meadow?

Flags up to 2m x 1m can be brought into the stadium without prior permission. Flag poles should be no longer than 1.5m in length and made of a lightweight material i.e. plastic. Wooden and metal poles are not permitted.

Larger flags are only allowed subject to permission on application prior to the match and written confirmation and certification that they are inherently fire retardant or have been treated for fire retardant properties.

Flags can be draped across seats where space permits. Please ask a steward for advice on the day.

Flags must not contain anything that might be considered abusive or offensive.

Can I bring a musical instrument to Montgomery Waters Meadow?

Drums that are contained within an individual’s seat space are normally allowed (subject to permission on application prior to the match).

Larger drums and any other type of musical instrument may be allowed (subject to permission on application prior to the match).

Drums and musical instruments should not be used to the extent they cause a nuisance to fellow supporters.

Shrewsbury Town FC reserves the right to refuse entry and/or confiscate items that do not meet the guidelines above.
