The Robins Trust and Charlton Athletic Supporters Trust stand united in condemning homophobia or any form of discrimination.

Alongside both the Proud Robins and Proud Valiants, both Trusts have been in dialogue with the clubs since the sad incident at Saturday's game.

Reacting to the announcement made by Cheltenham Town today, The Two Trusts have released the following joint statement:

"The Robins Trust welcomes the thorough and comprehensive response and the steps taken by both Cheltenham Town and Gloucestershire Constabulary.

"There is simply no place for any kind of abuse at football. We want to make the Jonny-Rocks Stadium a safe and welcoming place for all.

"The Charlton Athletic Supporters Trust agrees with the Robins Trust's approach of zero tolerance towards homophobic abuse of players, supporters or anyone at a football ground.

"We will continue to work together as fan representatives to ensure Football is a game for everyone to play, watch or enjoy without fear."
