Robins Trust Christmas Charity Food Collection

— 2 minute read

Last year the Robins Trust organised a collection of food and toiletries for Cheltenham Open Door @CheltOpenDoor and @CTFCofficial fans generously donated over 300 items which we were able to deliver to support the great work they do.

Open door supports vulnerable, disadvantaged, and lonely people with a variety of services, support, and friendship, in a welcoming and non judgemental space. Their services are free and without need of referral.

They serve home home-made hot meals, breakfasts, hot drinks, and snacks and offer food parcels and shower and laundry facilities.

They will once again be serving a variety of seasonal meals and providing comfort over the Christmas period.

They also offer much more than this! Visit their website www.cheltenhamopendoor.org.uk to see the amazing work they do.

With everyone feeling the effects of rising prices this year and financial challenges ahead, supporting charities such as Open Door has never been more important in our community.

If you feel able to donate just one small item, it can make a difference to someone else.

Cheltenham Open Door specifically request the following, but do have a look at their website

  • Tinned meat and fish
  • Tinned fruit and puddings
  • Tinned potatoes and instant mash
  • Tinned meals (Chilli/ curry etc)
